ZeroHedge and The Federalist To Be Banned From Google's Advertising Platform!

Permalink 06/16/20 21:22, by OGRE, Categories: Welcome, Background, In real life, On the web, Politics, Strange_News, Elections

The Real Thought Police are here, Google is their latest tool.

I'm adding this snip from the NBC website before they remove the part about the racist content originating from the comment section.

I knew this was coming. It was just a matter of time. Google wants to hit websites with views that skew from the current MSM (Main Stream Media) narrative -- financially. Notice that the NBC story is mentioning the comments section -- not the content news articles. This is a strategic move.

Google has banned ZeroHedge, a far-right website that often traffics in conspiracy theories, from its advertising platform over policy violations found in the comments section of stories about recent Black Lives Matter protests.

Google also issued a warning on Tuesday to The Federalist over comments on articles related to recent protests.

A Google spokesperson said in an email on Monday that it demonetized the websites after determining they violated its policies on content related to race.

“We have strict publisher policies that govern the content ads can run on and explicitly prohibit derogatory content that promotes hatred, intolerance, violence or discrimination based on race from monetizing,"kesperson wrote. "When a page or site violates our policies, we take action. In this case, we’ve removed both sites’ ability to monetize with Google.”

After publication of this story, Google backtracked Tuesday, clarifying that The Federalist had been warned about policy violations but still had time to address them. It now has three days to remove the violations before a ban goes into effect.

Now for the strategic part. How hard is going to be for the leftist trolls to visit conservative leaning websites and post a bunch of racist comments? This will be the new norm. Of course, Google will be right there to label any news site with racist or "intolerant" comments as inherently racist. Intolerant can mean many things, if you have a disagreement, it can be defined as intolerant. Then Google can hit them in the pocketbook for posting stories against the MSM narrative. That's the plan, I guarantee it.

UPDATE: Why Are The COVID-19 Models So Far From Reality?

Permalink 04/16/20 18:03, by OGRE, Categories: News, Background, In real life, On the web, Politics, Health Care, Strange_News, U.S. Economy

Science, like any industry, is money driven. A lot of scientists want to be the "first" to publish something. This leads to a lot of shoddy work, and ridiculous conclusions. A perfect example is eggs. Remember about 20 years ago they had all of those articles that said eggs were high in cholesterol and bad for you based on "first of it's kind" research. Then about 5 years later there was follow-up research that completely disproved the previous research. Now we know that eggs are great for you and are full of everything the human body needs.

I believe the same thing happened with the models for the COVID-19 virus. The early models were wildly inaccurate, but they made the headlines didn't they? Once the statistician who pumped out these numbers received recognition, they'll be sure receive funding. Never mind that their models are deeply flawed. These inaccuracies can usually be explained away in another 5 years, after most people have forgotten about the original research. But these models are being challenged in a very short amount of time and this time with the actual raw data. The COVID-19 outbreak is exposing a serious moral hazard in the scientific community, money, not science.

One Israeli professor eludes to this here.

While the American policies remain less restrictive than those of Israel, it is important to understand the origins of our own “mass hysteria” response. President Trump urged a strong coronavirus response after consulting with Dr. Fauci and his team, who relied on a British model predicting 2.2 million deaths in the United States and 500,000 deaths in the U.K. But that model was developed by Professor Neil Ferguson, who had a history of wildly overestimating death rates through his prediction models. Professor Ferguson was not known for his reliability, and his 2001 disease model was criticized as “not fit for purpose” after it predicted that up to 150,000 people could die in the U.K. from mad cow disease (177 deaths to date). Ferguson’s U.K. coronavirus deaths prediction is now down to 20,000 people, 4% of the original prediction.

Professor Neil Ferguson has a history of being wildly inaccurate. But he was definitely good at getting published because of his sensationalism! I'm sure you guys remember Mad Cow Disease, there was a big scare about that as well. Nobody remembers the wild numbers that Ferguson put out there. That's how these people normally get away with these totally ridiculous predictions. The numbers are so wildly inaccurate, you could have just made them up and been closer.

Now we have official government policy based on these ridiculous numbers. We have caused years worth of damage to the US economy for nothing. The article referenced above explains how the virus has run almost the exact same course in each of the countries it has impacted --regardless of the measures used to mitigate the response. Yitzhak Ben Israel has no answer for how the virus curves have been so similar. But I do, I think COVID-19 has been here since at least October of 2019. Mitigation efforts will have little effect if the virus has already spread all over the country --while nobody was looking for it! That's why I think the curves are so similar. The virus had already spread all over the world before anyone started testing for it.

UPDATE:

At least one person agrees with my reasoning, Dr. Luc Montagnier.

We knew that the Chinese version of how the coronavirus emerged was increasingly under attack, but here’s a thesis that tells a completely different story about the Covid-19 pandemic, which is already responsible for more than 110,000 deaths worldwide. According to Professor Luc Montagnier, winner of the Nobel Prize for Medicine in 2008 for “discovering” HIV as the cause of the AIDS epidemic together with Françoise Barré-Sinoussi, the SARS-CoV-2 is a virus that was manipulated and accidentally released from a laboratory in Wuhan, China, in the last quarter of 2019. According to Professor Montagnier, this laboratory, known for its work on coronaviruses, tried to use one of these viruses as a vector for HIV in the search for an AIDS vaccine!

In a challenging question Dr Jean-François Lemoine inferred that the coronavirus under investigation may have come from a patient who is otherwise infected with HIV. No, “says Luc Montagnier,” in order to insert an HIV sequence into this genome, molecular tools are needed, and that can only be done in a laboratory.

According to the 2008 Nobel Prize for Medicine, a plausible explanation would be an accident in the Wuhan laboratory. He also added that the purpose of this work was the search for an AIDS vaccine.

This makes sense. The number of people who are infected with COVID-19 doesn't add up with the virus getting here in January or February 2020.

Consider this. When you look at the numbers of people who contract COVID-19 those who have severe symptoms are a small percentage. Of those people with severe symptoms, the number of people that actually require hospitalization is even lower. It appears that COVID-19 could have been released accidentally from the Chinese lab in Wuhan. This could have happened without anyone knowing until so many people were infected that the number of people with severe symptoms requiring hospitalization became noticeably high. Otherwise, like the rest of the world, the Chinese would just assume it was another bad flu season.

More evidence to support my conclusion.

Pay attention to the "cases and deaths per 100,000 people."

WHOLE TEXT Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act / CARES Act

Permalink 03/29/20 08:49, by OGRE, Categories: News, Background, In real life, On the web, Politics, Health Care, Stimulus Spending

Here is a link to the entire text of the "CARES Act" from Congress.gov. This bill is a government bail out. More than help the American people, it helps government pet projects. Why do so many government institutions require Coronavirus relief? Wouldn't it be cheaper to just keep paying government employees during the lock-down period? Of course it would, that's how you know that this is just a slush fund for government institutions.

Here's the vote lowdown...

I suggest scrolling through it from the bottom. Because that's where all the goodies are.

(COVID-19) Wuhan Virus - Payroll Tax Relief For 2020, Why It Will NEVER Happen

Permalink 03/13/20 17:22, by OGRE, Categories: Welcome, News, Background, Fun, In real life, On the web, Politics, Health Care, Stimulus Spending, Elections

I would really like to have a payroll tax relief for the entire year. That would be a really good thing for the economy, but a very bad thing for politicians.

Remember when The FairTax was being discussed? The problem is that most people don't actually know what they pay in taxes. It's like the gas tax in any given state. What is the gas tax rate? It's hard to find, it isn't listed on your receipt when you buy fuel. That's by design, that way it can be manipulated, and people won't know what their tax rate is. It can be changed without a vote.

If Trump was to successfully suspend the payroll tax for the rest of the year, people would wake up! They would see the weekly difference in their pay as it relates to taxes. That's the ONLY reason a tax relief package of that type will never make it to Trump's desk. Payroll tax relief has as much chance of passing as The FairTax does, or did.

Trying to Steal an Election (For Real!)

Permalink 11/19/19 02:55, by OGRE, Categories: News, Background, In real life, On the web, History, Politics, Strange_News, Elections

This is unbelievable, but it's not when you consider the convictions of those who wish to "fundamentally transform America."

There is a movement to cancel the votes of million of people! This is real legitimate voter suppression. They are going to combine the electoral votes of multiple states based on nation wide popular vote. This is an underhanded way of removing the votes from less populous states. It's also a way of making sure that Democrats can win the next election. This is EVEN MORE troubling, because it's a way around The Constitution of The United States of America.

Each state's legislature determines how it's electors will be chosen and the rules by which they vote. But there's nothing in The Constitution to keep states from working together in this manor.

California Democrats have been cutting six-figure checks to promote the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact (NPV) in Colorado ahead of a referendum vote in the state next November.

The NPV would change how the Electoral College operates without amending the Constitution. It pledges a state's Electoral College votes to the candidate receiving the most votes nationwide in a presidential election.

Electoral College votes are awarded state-by-state, and most allocate them in a winner-take-all method to the single candidate receiving the most votes in that particular state.

States that have joined the NPV, however, would award their Electoral College votes to the candidate that wins the most votes nationwide.

For example, if Colorado voters favored the Republican candidate, but the Democratic candidate won the most votes when adding all the states in the compact together, Colorado's nine Electoral College votes would go to the Democrat.

The compact does not take effect until enough states and districts have adopted it that their combined Electoral College vote total surpasses 270, the number needed to win the presidency.

Democrats know that they have overstepped their bounds. They know that most people have seen through their impeachment charade. So, the next logical step is to cheat. To go around the Constitution, and find a way to get their person in office.

Remember, as Saul Alinsky once said, "They are passionately committed to a mystical objectivity where passions are suspect… They can be recognized by one of two verbals brands. “We agree with the ends but not the means” or “This is not the time.” The means-and-end moralists or non-doers always end up on their ends without any means." These people have the means!

It might not happen this time around, but with a little time, and court stacking, they'll most likely get their way.
