I advocate that we do nothing. Health insurance is a business no less than any other. Why is it "in America" that I can't make an honest (or dishonest) profit without the government stepping in? And if I want to spend that profit on a shiny new Acura NSX, why should Acura be forced to help bailout the Fords of the industry which no one wants to buy (re: "private insurance companies are going to have to shell out to their competition")? Oops, did we step in something there? Seems like the government fix does more for foreigners than Americans ('Clunkers' Program Benefits Foreign Automakers More).

So here we go again helping out non-Americans in some way unforeseen (depending on which way Obama spins it).
